What makes me think the world needs yet another blog? The internet is convoluted enough with insignificant banter, isn't it? It is, certainly, but hey, I'm a mom, I'm a business-owner, and I have stuff to say. A journalist by trade, I shelved my thoughts, feelings, opinions and rants for the last ten years in order to participate in the corporate rat race, a race I decided to leave to pursue other ventures. About two months ago I vacated the world of semiconductors (and mean people) to be at home with my 1-year-old daughter, Alexandra, grow yet another baby-filled belly, and launch my website, www.alexcaseybaby.com. The point is to raise relatively well-adjusted children while still contributing to the lifestyle I share with my husband. Is it working? Not sure yet, check back in a few years...
So far the launch of my site has been somewhat successful. Thrust into a completely new industry, it's a game of trial and error. My site was built pretty quickly, not without a moderate amount of pain but I'm completely satisfied with the final product.
